ok, i popped out old hdd , installed larger one. installed fresh os , hooked my old hdd , started cherry picking wanted bring on new one... problem is, how go getting favorites on safari, opera , other browsers using? thought go library folder whichever browser..ect. dont see folders mention browser names....ect. not sure im missing when comes locating them.   buy external enclosure old drive, or use usb3/sata dock or dongle. then... ... boot old drive can access browsers "as left them" before installed new drive. safari bookmarks, you'll want re-open safari, export bookmarks. move file new drive, reboot new drive, , re-import bookmarks. think you'd want repeat process other browsers. i've noticed in home/library/safari folder there pref file named: bookmarks.plist i'm wondering if moving file directly "bring over" bookmarks? worth try, again, metho

hi, wonder if can following problem. few years have been using old pmg5 running os x 10.5.8 server v1.1, stand alone timemachine backup server. it's worked fantastically backing our imacs, macbook etc internal hd. run 2008/9 imac 20/24" devices office use , these obsolete now, stuck on 10.11. devices applicable taking 10.12, have been upgraded through past 10 months etc. onto main point of thread. it's been pointed out in last week these devices have stopped backing tm. on further investigation i'm getting following error (see attached screenshot). i'm guessing gap difference between 10.5 , 10.12 great compatibility. else know work around. have 3 more server, first running 10.12 , other 2 running 10.11. have possibly using 1 of 10.11 servers pass through or second tm backup these newer devices refusing see newer server in tm prefs. in advance advice. can appreciate might not been easy one.   attach

when sierra came out, tried upgrade it, monitor showed nothing. when used cmd+r , restarted there, access mac. had technician reinstall el capitan, because no advice read helped. tried upgrading sierra again (using sierra button sits on launchpad year) , time got worse. can access cmd+r, restart there has no effect. use philips minotor, power button blinks when asleep. after upgrading sierra, had same effect - monitor seems asleep, while mac running. used revert el capitan. sierra has brought nothing troubles. el capitan seems bit slower before. hope nothing got damaged during sierra upgrade , back-up restore? ideas of why have happened? due monitor not being apple hardware? sierra not working mac mini?   are able try monitor?   Forums Macs Mac Basics and Help

i have iphone 4s , iphone 6, have 400mb , 1.25gb data plans, respectively. wi-fi assist turned off on iphone 6, , iphone 4s not support in first place. reset usage stats @ beginning of each billing month on both devices. iphone 6's reported cellular data usage more or less identical carrier reports; on other hand, iphone 4s's reported usage way off when compared carrier — as ~300mb off. both devices on wi-ifi day, , more 25–30 feet access point. have no reason believe wi-fi signal weak in house, never experience drop outs , have strong signal. in fact, have 2 access points in apartment make sure there no dead zones. contacted carrier , claim there nothing wrong on end. there way 4s using cellular data without me knowing it? @ point shut off cellular data on 4s when i'm @ home, i've seen chunks of data used (according carrier's stats) while on wi-fi. neither device jailbroken, have little reason believe malware @ play.  

hey there everybody! after 7 years of holding off on ipad (i 1 of people in beginning called ipad more expensive ipod touch) getting own soon! have placed order 10.5" ipad pro, 256gb wifi + cellular. have problem: case/cover get? working user interface designer , using ipad + apple pencil mockups , drawing , maybe light documentation writing on work side of things. on fun side i'll use watching movies during travel, web browsing, reading , messaging believe. me clear getting apple pencil, can't decide between different case/cover options. thinking getting smart keyboard cover, don't know if it's worth money if don't heavily use writing time? other option smart cover, here don't know if should silicone or leather option, since have leather iphone case if leather smart cover smart keyboard instead. there fact need store pencil somewhere when out , don't want spend money on new ipad sleeve. lots of options here, appreciate

we've been sprint 5 years , regretted every single day. family of 5 iphones, 6 , up. 2 of them done contract , 3 of them not. when port on t-mobile , pay etf, sprint agree domestically unlock iphone? or refuse because left sprint? have experience this? also, i've heard sprint says can domestically unlock phone still won't work other carriers. there article read. true?   i left sprint t-mobile in december 2015. contract wasn't @ time paid etf out. next day contacted sprint rep via live chat , unlocked of phones had (1 iphone 6, 4 iphone 5s's) on spot. popped in t-mo sim , worked. had jump through couple of hoops due me leaving plan (i have thread here on mr it) it's possible do. @ first told have wait until our contract officially before unlock, said we'd have wait until next billing cycle. that's load of bs- (politely) persistent , agreed unlock our phones next day.

ok gang, need advice. work, on 27" imac 5k. make calls living through browser based softphone. have pair of custom molded westone es20 iems headphones, , antlion modmic5 noise cancelling mic. both wired. have "y" adapter both plug , jack imac. works great, love it. go wireless via bluetooth. there "best in class" bluetooth adapter can plug y-adapter , use iems , mic on bluetooth lowest latency possible? have use these iems (headphones) since molded ears , have drivers designed hearing difficulties. also, needs have amazing battery life, work 10 hours straight daily. not opposed using power pack if can charge while in use. wish use airpods don't have battery life sustain 10 straight hours of use everyday without charging, , mic isn't noise cancelling enough , sound quality sucks.   Forums Macs Mac
