TimeMachine Server Backup Error


hi,

wonder if can following problem. few years have been using old pmg5 running os x 10.5.8 server v1.1, stand alone timemachine backup server. it's worked fantastically backing our imacs, macbook etc internal hd. run 2008/9 imac 20/24" devices office use , these obsolete now, stuck on 10.11. devices applicable taking 10.12, have been upgraded through past 10 months etc.

onto main point of thread. it's been pointed out in last week these devices have stopped backing tm. on further investigation i'm getting following error (see attached screenshot). i'm guessing gap difference between 10.5 , 10.12 great compatibility. else know work around.

have 3 more server, first running 10.12 , other 2 running 10.11. have possibly using 1 of 10.11 servers pass through or second tm backup these newer devices refusing see newer server in tm prefs.

in advance advice. can appreciate might not been easy one.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
