Still a great option in 2017

i’m tech savvy person in intermediate family, on past month i’ve been helping niece laptop options for college fall.

looked @ windows macbook pro, , ipad pro before noticing latest air models. recommend i7 512 configuration , suggested go apple store compare macbook 12" & pro models. decided go air , chose i5 256 configuration.

yesterday got celebrate 18th birthday, had chance check out air myself , set few things.

rmbp owner, expecting hate display, found quite decent! lot of visually demanding work on rmbp, while wouldn't ideal me, it’s still plenty sharp , bright enough basic everyday needs, , amazing battery life bonus. performance felt quite snappy too, , standard ports & features magsafe should come in handy @ university.

worried might have steered in wrong direction, think machine going great fit her. macbook air still offers excellent balance of quality, price , performance in 2017.

the mba gets lot of crap non-retina screen... right user, it's great little machine. it's more powerful new macbook... more ports, more cpu power, cheaper price, better battery life, , better keyboard in opinion of most... , still has magsafe connector...

yeah, it's non-retina screen... has lot of pluses on mb, and, frankly, it's lighter , more portable mbp.

(and niece) done good. winner, winner, chicken dinner!
