Bad Picture Stuttering on Apple TV4K...I'm losing my mind here!

new forum, i'm in right place!

little setup: got apple tv 4k on friday. using 3rd generation apple tvs in living room , office, , have 4th generation in bedroom. 4k tvs in house in living room , office, newer tv in office , has hdr while living room doesn't. being said, still wanted put new 4k apple tv in living room.

hooked vizio in living room (vizio d58u-d3) , defaulted 4k sdr 60hz. great! running fine...until started play hd movie files (mp4s) computer home sharing app (which reason why have apple tvs in every room our movies can go throughout apartment). movies choppy lack of better term. must have changed video every possible setting , while having @ 4k sdr 24hz helped movies, meant things on netflix, mlb network , wwe network coming in @ looked 24fps.

never had issues old apple tvs being able handle hd movies , things mlb network , wwe network without getting choppy , showing each in appropriate frame rate. doing wrong here? need better hdmi cables? screwed? tried turning on film mode didn't seem fix problem.

1 last bit of information: moved 4k apple tv newer vizio in office (vizio e55-e2) , defaulted 4k hdr 60hz , didn't have issue @ all. tried putting 4th generation 1080p apple tv in living room , while 1 says 1080p 60hz, again, didn't have issue @ all. apple tv 4k not play living room vizio? suggestions or appreciated. thanks!
 

it sounds either tv or hdmi cable don't 4k @ 60hz.
obviously, try cable rule out. after that, i'm not sure.
have run cable checker/tester on apple tv?
have double-checked of tv's settings?
need connected hdmi 1 input?

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
