i have 2 airpot express stations set clients itunes streaming. streaming works iphones, ipad, macbook air (high sierra), not imac (early 09, el capitan 10.11.6). when open airport utility laptop, see express base stations connected network. when same on imac, not. unfortunately itunes library on imac. "believe" around time updated itunes 12.6.3 lost ability airplay computer only. hey all, got old imac - mid 2011 27" i7, 8gb, 256 apple ssd (model 12,2) - customer got new mid 2017 27" imac. wanted me erase personal data said whatever it. anyway, booted recovery mode, ran disk utility , deleted partition, "erased" new mac journaled partition , did fresh install of el capitan (what on when got it.) , finally, went app store , updated sierra. good. runs quite age , seems snappy. 1 issue, however. since sierra upgrade: every time boots error after login drive needs initialized. checking disk utility, @ top of left-side list, drive called st_m13fqbl media; 4.14 gb uninitialized. grins, tried initialize it... no go. i've run first aid , healthy. below weird drive expected apple ssd ts256c media 251 gb sata internal physical disk below partition created in recovery disk utility before install called mac_256-ssd found 1 reference in forums 2014 related 320 gb rotational drive few responders believed stran...

hey guys, switched mavericsk sierra , shocked unusable spotlight results itunes tracks when title matches album name. in left column, album titles , in right contained tracks. neither can select them arrow keys nor play them in itunes. instead, hitting return plays first file (in alphabetical file name order) of folder in track in. since tracks in 1 huge folder without substructures, ton of tracks want launch spotlight lead same track. problem never occured on earlier mac os versions. rebuilding spotlight index didn't succeed. track here has homonymous album , track , displayed album result. hitting return leads me first file of folder , not track. 1 here has full metadata title , album don't match. hitting enter launches track in itunes. sucks big time. solution? cheers danny   Forums Macs macOS ...
