Ming-Chi Kuo Says iPhone X Unlikely to Reach Supply-Demand Balance Until Next Year

while iphone x launches november 3, pre-orders beginning october 27, reliable analyst ming-chi kuo believes apple's high-end smartphone won't achieve complete supply-demand equilibrium until next year.

in latest research note kgi securities, obtained macrumors, kuo said customer demand iphone x won't met until @ least first half of 2018 due supply constraints.
in fewer words, getting iphone x in hands may prove challenging holiday shopping season.

in addition supply constraints, kuo said reason why iphone x pre-orders won't begin 6 weeks because apple doesn't want cannibalize sales of iphone 8 , iphone 8 plus.

iphone 8 , iphone 8 plus pre-orders began @ 12:01 a.m. pacific time today. devices launch friday, september 22.

earlier week, kuo said apple's iphone x production less 10,000 units per day, yield may increasing apple ramps mass production. anticipated iphone x remain in "severe short supply while."

kuo anticipated gold iphone x encounter production problems , available in "extremely low volume," or launch @ later date, apple said iphone x comes in silver , space gray.

in today's research note, said lack of gold color echoes production concerns, didn't elaborate if still thinks iphone x released in gold iphone 8 , iphone 8 plus.

said, cannot wait silver iphone x, upgrading network provider not buying outright lool

How much is my cMP worth?
