Calendar Entry - Busy / Free - What does it mean?

when creating calender entry via ios, selection of "busy" or "free" seen or appear on other's devices when attempting invite meeting?

see work when using outlook on work laptop cannot see how selection impacts ios entries.

can explain me how works?

busy/free is, indicated, shared calendars. person whom you're sharing calendar sees depends on level of sharing. depending on calendar host can share busy/free info individual, if choose, , means such person see events have marked "busy" , no specific info on event...just "busy".

if or how works depends, suppose, on compatibility of host calendars.
