Apple and Nokia Settle Patent Dispute With New Licensing Agreement

nokia , apple announced today have settled litigation related intellectual property dispute , agreed multi-year patent license.

under collaborative agreement, nokia said provide "certain network infrastructure products , services" apple. in turn, apple agreed return health products owned finnish company apple retail , online stores.

in december of last year, nokia filed multiple complaints against apple in several countries, accusing cupertino company of infringing several of patents. in response, apple sued nokia in antitrust lawsuit against several patent assertion entities claimed trying collect excessive fees nokia patents. apple had established frand (fair, reasonable, , non-discriminatory) deals nokia, transferring patents patent holding companies, additional royalties can demanded.
