Apple and Nokia Settle Patent Dispute With New Licensing Agreement

nokia , apple announced today have settled litigation related intellectual property dispute , agreed multi-year patent license.

under collaborative agreement, nokia said provide "certain network infrastructure products , services" apple. in turn, apple agreed return health products owned finnish company apple retail , online stores.

in december of last year, nokia filed multiple complaints against apple in several countries, accusing cupertino company of infringing several of patents. in response, apple sued nokia in antitrust lawsuit against several patent assertion entities claimed trying collect excessive fees nokia patents. apple had established frand (fair, reasonable, , non-discriminatory) deals nokia, transferring patents patent holding companies, additional royalties can demanded.

days after legal dispute flared up, apple pulled withings-branded, nokia-owned accessories online , retail stores around world. nokia stood ground, however, claiming had not been able reach licensing agreement apple , therefore had defend rights.

following latest development, nokia receive up-front cash payment apple additional revenues forthcoming. figure remains undisclosed, net sales in nokia patent licensing reflect value of agreement, while nokia expects related revenues reflected in second quarter of 2017. no other details of terms of agreement have been released.

Is anyone else having issues with the RX 580 8GB & Windows (Bootcamp)?

i have windows 7 installed on separate drive, , rx 580 8gb misbehaving. not card give me signal upon boot, had use ol' gt 120 in order see desktop , install amd drivers. after having installed them, switched cables 580 , able see desktop. yay... but, until shut down , removed gt 120. now? well, same issue: black screen. it's if rx 580 living off of presence of gt 120. other odd thing driver installation gave me no issues. installed drivers os apparently has issues. might card , drivers not work enough os? loathe upgrading windows 10; however, if means being able run card on own, i'll consider it. else has similar issues?
