my brother's macbook air kinda useless. first problem is, macbook can't turned on, happens every ~once in month, (charger green, screen black)but think didn't since summer. when happens, after couple of hours of trying, smc reset, power button long press, macbook turns on. other problem wifi. started month ago. wifi randomly turns off, on, , macbook can't used web browsing. sometime good, sometimes, wifi useless. here wifi log, think hardware problem, (i suspect smc wild guess me) , real problem lives in bermuda , there no official apple service provider, when came home week, (the wifi problem was'nt present yet) apple said didn't find anything. annoying machine unreliable since ~the second month got is. when comes home again, 1 year warranty expire. question wifi, think can problem, , if have advice warranty/repairing machine, glad.   attached files: a"> ...

hi, came across issue moving folder called "documents" external hard drive same external hard drive folder. had cancel since not wanted move it. realized whole "documents" folder gone , part of remaining. thing have backup. trying use ccc copy "documents" folder located under user (from external hdd) internal hard drive. there 800gb data , "stops" @ 1.70gb it's still counting time , saying comparing files on source , destination. see no progress... doing in background?   you don't need ccc copy individual files or folders backup. drag'n'drop fine. https://bombich.com/kb/ccc5/restoring-non-system-files depending on settings, might folder backup merged folder you're writing to, not every file needs written , therefore won't see progress. suggest waiting error report or task completion, compare source , destination folder...
