Help! Backup using CCC


hi,

came across issue moving folder called "documents" external hard drive same external hard drive folder. had cancel since not wanted move it. realized whole "documents" folder gone , part of remaining.

thing have backup. trying use ccc copy "documents" folder located under user (from external hdd) internal hard drive. there 800gb data , "stops" @ 1.70gb it's still counting time , saying comparing files on source , destination. see no progress... doing in background?

 

you don't need ccc copy individual files or folders backup. drag'n'drop fine.

depending on settings, might folder backup merged folder you're writing to, not every file needs written , therefore won't see progress. suggest waiting error report or task completion, compare source , destination folder.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
