i got imac 5k retina apple.com have been plagued fan noise when machine idle nothing plugged it. got replacement imac , had same issue. did further research , feedback online 5k imac noisy, has idle fan noise. looking alternative while can still exchange machine. noisy while idle dealbreaker me. considering getting macpro. friend of mine owned graphic design company used old model have never been exposed these cylinder type models. how in comparison? quiet? also, sort of large monitor recommend pairing with? how these compared imac? understand imac releasing own pro in december not sure if want wait... sort of information, feedback, advise appreciated. frustrated noise coming new imac. i'm okay spending more quieter machine. thanks.   my 5k imac dead silent unless i'm transcoding video or something. thing hear 90% of time external drives if they're spinning. runnin...

i got 2017 13" mbp-tb, seems small compared 2011 mba. bought 2017 mbp in portland, or. tax free plus 6% business discount costing me $1691, however, after messing 1 day, regretting maybe, should return , go portland in november , buy 15". guys think? realize screen size same mba, footprint smaller, , seems i'm using 11-inch mba, though never having own one. guy @ apple did tell me use it, if not, return , exchange 15". cost difference $570. can't seem decide if 15" travel friendly. have seen quite few business travelers on 15" mbp on recent flights on 13". wonder if larger laptops trend when traveling? i'm traveling on few flight 13" mbp-tb week, maybe then, determine, if should keep or exchange it. maybe, should have purchased both , tried them out 2 weeks.   it’s still 13”. matters display size, , same every other 13” laptop on market....
