hi everyone
i'll buying new ipad pro 10.5 in week time, , wondering how awkward new magic keyboard new ipad. used have previous wireless keyboard ipad air 2 fact width of ipad narrower keyboard's width made clumsy , "not organic" @ all.
may bit futile , superficial, looks , design matter more me functionality (that is, both magic keyboard , smart keyboard give me same speed... that's approximation experience using new macbooks keyboard , logitec's keys go ipad after failed attempt use apple's wireless keyboard it).
again, please don't bash me, hate dark grey color of smart cover. devices use white cases, , love apple's aesthetic choice of going clean-white, wonder how ipad pro 10.5 magic keyboard... keyboard high , "hits" bottom part of ipad screen? (that happened ipad air 2 , wireless keyboard, looked clumsy touch screen if keyboard close ipad screen.)
smart cover provide stability ipad being touched while editing text smart keyboard cover does?
have picture of combo? and, finally, not having row of function keys in smart keyboard make movement of touching ipad screen less tiring? or irrelevant in experience?
lot, everyone!
i use magic keyboard ipad mini , ipad pro. i'm consolidating , getting 10.5 in few days, i'll using magic keyboard well. if haven't gotten yours i'll post pictures when do. don't use keyboard pushed right against ipad feel wouldn't bad or anything. exclusively use keyboard @ desk , travel - on screen keyboards work me when i'm on go.
magic keyboard lot , feel people forget it's there cheaper , more laptop-like alternative ask.
things like: it's still super compact , light when need travel still offers same nice keyboard used on laptop; has physical off switch when put in bag, key presses don't activate device (or when cat decides walk across keyboard, lol); need recharge every few months; when recharge use same cable ipad; looks nice , unobtrusive on desk; matches silver , white ipads.
1 thing wish keys activate launchpad , mission control on macos worked ios equivalents, ie home screen , app switcher respectively. don't when pressed on ios. volume/media/brightness keys work fine though, nice.
