Word 2011 for Mac Question


i run word 2011 on macbook pro (os x yosemite). in .docx file, want begin page numbering page 1 starting on third page of document. while have had partial success inserting section break following second page of document, cannot remove page numbering first 2 pages altogether.

when delete page number footer of first page, word deletes page number third page (which first page of new section). similarly, if delete page number second page, word deletes page numbering fourth , subsequent pages (i.e., pages 2 , following second section of document). stands, document has "1" in footer of first page, "2" in footer of second page, on third page has "1" in footer (which want), , subsequent pages numbered sequentially, desired (2, 3, 4, etc.).

how can remove automatic page numbering footer on first 2 pages without messing rest of document? want have no page numbers in footer until third page, @ point page numbers should begin "1" , continue there.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
