Did anyone else notice the Silver supply was slimmer than Space Gray?


i helped facilitate 4 pre-orders, through iup (all completed pre-approval).

3 iphone x silver 64 gb (verizon) - nov 10-17
1 iphone x space gray 64gb (verizon) - nov 3

apple store app experience weird least. trickle effect. able in first, relative, wife's phone , last relative. in different locations exception of mine , wife's. seemed start, silver ipx in limited supply. think got actual order in around 3:04am-3:06am(est). space gray remained nov 3rd ship date until around 3:15am. silver pretty done out of gate.

fifth phone needed pre-order new iup order. apple couldn't reach verizon's network verify account details got whole "cannot reach carrier, reserve 1 , email when can reach carrier can complete order." @ time, ipx 64gb silver, had slipped 2-3 weeks, while space gray had slipped 1-2 weeks.

after got mine , wife's pre-order in, checked availability store pickup. 12 stores within 50 miles have space gray 64 or 256gb in store on nov 3rd. however, not single store, within 50 miles, have either capacity version of silver.

speculation apple though space gray bigger hit , had more supply? or silver in higher demand?

not complaining or bashing; i'm content 2 week wait. food thought , conversation starter :)

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
