Problem with process called 'bird'


hi! using mac os 10.10.5
using activity monitor see process called 'bird' using 48% of cpu. if quit it, starts again.
looked , saw had said using terminal , writing see problem was, did:
brctl log --wait --shorten

terminal went endlessly displaying text. here beginning of text:

"bird" 1 of processes used icloud, if it's busy it's working sync files between mac , icloud. have started using or have made changes t contents of icloud drive or photo library?

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
