Is Firefox reporting my email address when I visit a website?

i've had strange feeling reporting email address when visit websites.here's what's happening: i'll go msnbc website , open lot of tabs news items interest me, , seems on days, yesterday, bombed tons of junk/spam/phishing emails. on days when don't that, seem skate pretty free happening.

checked in 'about:config' in firefox, , doing search there doesn't seem email address field, or mentioning email address. possible it's doing anyway. or there software system might reporting email address. @ minimum, i'd pointed @ sacrificial address, @ i'd whatever doing ducking stop doing it.

i've tried googling solutions, can't seem right words answer, or answer buried under tons of spammer links search engine.

or cookie need nuke? thought of that. msnbc have cookie loaded address , it's 'helpfully' telling everyone. arg!!!

all...

when connect internet, internet (and many, many websites, services, servers . . .) connect you. and, can tag (your computing devices connected internet), , may track you.

given using firefox, may want download , install plug-in known noscript (https://noscript.net/). @ beginning, of using noscript, don't fret learning it; instead, work . . . , learn how effort being made *those* websits, services, , servers ("the internet") monitor , collect information you.

in collection of such information --- of sold / traded amongst owners, managers, controllers (and unfortunately sometimes, employees paid info - black market personal info) --- , --- tour internet, info you, *precedes* you.

among info, may e-mail address.

so, basically, sort of fingerprint or footprint of computer device, precedes you, , @ instant connect website, website knows more may have imagined.

same can said realm of near-field communications; where, example, walk along storefront, , smartphone active . . . large lcd display in store's window, changes showing, in order display items appeal - based upon info website-and-store know you.

fact @ mall , walked by, close enough, store.

eventually, electronic billboards alongside roads, doing same - responding info car, billboard co. (and internet'd connections) have.

if use google, , android phone, facebook, , other "chattering class" services, you're not helping yourself, defend (and loved ones') privacy.

(look google analytics , urchin tracker, on internet. might want begin use search engine service known duckduckgo.)

imho
