i have 1 terabyte hard drive (not ssd) use time machine backups. macbook pro has 256 gig ssd , i'd rather not make smaller. right now, i'm booting windows off usb3.0 thumb drive, there's not can install, owing size. wondering if it'd possible partition time machine drive 2, 700 gig partition time machine , 300 gig partition bootcamp. work? tried googling , couldn't find relevant. thanks!
finally got around doing it. turns out had reformat drive change mbr guid after that, allotted 250 gigs bootcamp partition , 750 time machine/general use. works fine. thing don't moving hard drive. it's platter suspended in fudge - it's freaking slow compared ssd i've gotten used to!
