YouTube Red and Google Play Music to Merge in New Subscription Service

google play music , ad-free youtube red service set merge in new streaming package, according youtube's head of music (via the verge).

lyor cohen revealed coming change during panel session @ new music seminar conference in new york on wednesday, saying 2 services needed combined educate consumers , attract new subscribers.

by consolidating offerings unified package, google hopes benefits of subscriptions clearer customers. company offers youtube red, removes ads , lets users save videos offline viewing, in addition ad-supported youtube music app (with additional benefits red subscribers), while youtube tv provided separate subscription service.

google said notify users of changes beforehand, timeframe rebranding remains unclear. still, existing subscribers youtube red or google play music shouldn't see hugely significant change, 2 services combined.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
