2015 vs 2017


hi,

mid-2010 11" macbook air crapped bed , luckily brother-in-law had 2015 retina macbook lying around switched surface pro.

thinking of getting 2017 macbook before receiving 2015 , wanted know if there significant missing out on. believe 2015 unit 1.2ghz dual-core intel core m processor 512gb , 8gb of ram.

i'm worried difference in graphic cards , ability run 4k displays.

the 2017 imo has vastly superior keyboard. feels noticeably more peppy. , 2017 has full hardware hevc decode, 10-bit 4k hevc play in high sierra. (4k 10-bit hevc make 2016 core i7 macbook pro choke badly.)

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
