“Try HDR” screen message on start-up


every time start appletv 4k, message on screen 2 selections, “try hdr” , “not now”. try , use remote select 1 of options, screen unresponsive remote. way around screen physically power-cycle device, after normal menu screen appears.

video set 4k hdr 4:2:0. using new certified high-speed hdmi cable has been working fine uhd/hdr oppo 203. appletv 4k connected marantz 8802a, connected sony x940d. components uhd/hdr compatible. not using arc on marantz.

annoying behavior, having power-cycle device every time. there thread discusses issue , possibly fix?

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
