Not an ATT phone???


i bought ip8 att.com on preorder, paying full price. today tried unlock procedure , got following message below. imei number got setting/general/about same number entering *#06#

"the imei entered not appear at&t wireless phone or tablet. please re-enter correct 15-digit imei number at&t wireless phone or tablet. can obtain imei number wireless phone dialing *#06#."

should note when received phone, had problems activating it. since wanted use immediately, switched sim card previous phone , point on, worked fine. doing this, did in effect make new phone non sim phone att assuming still using previous phone , 1 not activated?

reason wanting unlock phone i’m considering ordering x replace phone, may want sell. know status of phone before trot local att store ask them.
 

suggest trot store. it’s going difficult here guess. either or contact at&t support.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
