iOS 11 Beta 2 Changes: Control Center Tweaks, Experimental Safari Settings, Do Not Disturb While Driving and More

apple afternoon seeded second beta of ios 11 developers, update coming of surprise because betas come on monday or tuesday mornings.

ios 11 beta 2 introduces long list of bug fixes address issues discovered in first beta of ios 11, , registered developers should read on extensive release notes idea of what's been fixed.

update introduces many new bugs , highlights many known issues, such unexpected pop when restarting iphone 7/7 plus or sos notification goes out when alert cancelled, still not stable beta , should installed on secondary devices.

along fixing bugs , introducing new ones, there small feature tweaks , changes included in ios 11, we've outlined in video below.

- dock - show recents - there's new option under general --> multitasking allows change dock settings on ipad disable "show recents" option displays used apps on dock. disabled, apps have added dock show up.

- do not disturb while driving - there new not disturb while driving options available in settings app , not disturb while driving enabled in beta.

- dictation - support hindi dictation has been added in beta 2 according apple's beta release notes.

- control center - there's new option disable control center within apps, preventing coming when swipe upwards. option leaves control center accessible home screen. bluetooth in control center works wi-fi option, disconnecting whatever's connected rather toggling off.

- safari - in settings app in safari section under advanced, there's new option turn on experimental features constant properties, css spring animations, webgpu, web animations, , more.

- files app - there's new "save files" share sheet option saving photos, documents, , other files files app. when using "save files" menu pops allows choose location. save files replaces add icloud drive.

legacy document providers onedrive, box, pdf expert, , other apps now showing up locations in files app, aren't using new ios 11 file extensions yet.

- lock screen - there's new blur animation when pulling down top of device bring lock screen/notification center or when pulling access home screen again.

ios 11 available developers, apple has said make version of update available public beta testers @ end of june, next week. we're expecting several more betas, , see additional feature tweaks , changes ahead of software's public release in fall.

beta 2 far worse beta 1, went ios 10 on main phone. testing apps in ios 11 b2 on 2 ipads , phone currently.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
