HDMI Adapter with Optical Audio advice


hi guys,

i'm planning buy 4th gen apple tv have small issue, tv lacks 3.5mm jack port, , sound come out of 5.1 system rather tv sound not good.

did research , need adapter split hdmi hdmi + hdmi audio, found kanex 1 (https://www.kanex.com/hdmi-optical-audio ), believe £60 it's bit this.

knows cheaper alternatives kanex?

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
