Moving an OLD iTunes library


hi!

brother has old black plastic macbook don't know version of itunes. please don't make me ask him -- through phone/email -- version :). know layout of itunes directory old pre-itunes media folder style. wants move windows pc. old version of itunes won't synch ios10 ipad, , way can don't know windows. :) 12.6 on windows-whatever able figure out old library if moves whole itunes folder music folder on pc , fires itunes? know version of itunes structure changed knew do, don't know if it's late , don't have old-style library play with.

on related note, there way handle ebooks ipad on windows?

i think should able read old library. worst case drop entire old itunes library new "automatically add itunes" folder. new itunes figure out!
don't expect quick process. depending on size, speed of hard drive.

ibooks on ios/ipad should able read ebook formats. prefer pdf format

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
