Mac Pro pauses when I close ARD


i have peculiar issue. when close ard window, mac pro (server) pause whatever doing. seems happen when use built in screen sharing. don't know if goes sleep, or it's doing. when log day or 2 later, @ same exact point when left off. (for example, last night left queue of home video conversions)

intermittent issue. seems happen when shut down macbook pro.

however, still operational. tv can still connect , stream library without issues. can ping it. netinstall images still available booting. can connect , browse files. lack of better word "pauses" whatever set do.

has ever heard of happening?


both macs on high sierra. though same thing happened on sierra , el capitan.

have mid-2010 macbook pro 17".
server 2008 mac pro (dual cpu).

disclaimer: yes know 2008 mac pro officially supports el capitan, had installed when got it. on el capitan sierra , high sierra, it's highly doubtful it's related sierra+. have done clean installs on of them, , still happens. problem sporadic.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
