iPad pro 12.9 or MBP?


i'm looking replace 2012 macbook air. thinking while i'd new mbp without touchbar, i'm considering new ipad pro it's lot cheaper , can swing 512 storage. thoughts?

fair amount of photo editing, that's extent of "pro" tasks i'd doing. addition of affinity photo app ipad, seems might cheaper alternative. has used new affinity app pro model? 4gb of memory sufficient? other tasks basic, web browsing, mail, itunes, pandora/spotify/sling etc.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
