this time, think narrowed down battery power. received 15 inch mbp touchbar couple days ago, , ran migration assistant on old mac (2015 model), , connected them both via ethernet cable. took around 3 hours, ended software , settings. still needed move few licenses here , there, re-join ad domain, part, i'm happy. although, today, started happening odd.
can run mac day in desktop, connected charger, , won't skip bit, took few minutes join domain, , when opened before technician, froze completely. cursor blinking on document typing, unresponsive, not touch bar. forced restarted it, , finished doing.
went desk, , continued working normally. had meeting, , took mac me. opened it, , started typing minute of meeting, froze again. same behavior. both times on battery. force rebooted, , finished meeting no more issues.
went desk again, , continued working no issues rest of day. went room prepare go home, , opened mac download couple things on hotel wifi, fast. watched few videos, , @ middle of 5 minute one, froze again. time image froze, along else, audio continued few seconds.
since in hurry, force shot down, , put in bag.
now, of 3 times, didn't waited see if un-freeze itself, guess can test tomorrow @ home, i'm worried won't able use while on battery power. thankfully, of reports i've read here , on web, mention not hardware software related, can fix without replacement. 1 took month arrive, don't want wait whole month again new one.
ideas can start troubleshoot? log or dump can check me?
2.7ghz model, 4gb radeon pro 460 , 1tb ssd. sierra 10.12.4.
