For developers - MacBook Pro 2017 15"


hey community,

professional developer , looking buy new macbook pro. why? because coming 2013 model shows ages.

many developers, heavily rely on function keys in preferred editors , development environments. see it, 15" offers touch bar , don't think apple ever release 1 without in future.

wanted ask, how guys, heavily rely on physical function keys, have accommodate it. need feedback function keys, because resting fingers on keys in debugger instance, can stay focused on screen.
if sort of feedback not possible, there way remap function keys other keys? (fn+1,...)

main concern new models. furthermore, 2015 base model not option. has no discrete graphics , not powerful, upgrade 2013 model not worth premium price.
 

what recent pre-owned 2015 15" has dgpu , applecare+?

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
