2014 mac mini boot from SD drive?


i bought 2014 mac mini spinning hard drive couple years ago... dog slow. painfully slow. unusable. have been running external usb3 ssd boot drive pretty fast, better hard drive was.

question: possible/efficient run sd card - sdxc (secure digital extended capacity) drive? specs accept 32 gb , larger cards in slot. have idea if worth doing? 128 gb sdxc card $67 amazon.

check speed of sd card considering, slower hard drives. example, 5400 rpm mini hard drive has write speed of 100mb/sec , know how slow feels.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
