2017 15" MacBook Pro vid card overheat?


hi, have 2017 15" macbook pro 3.1ghz / 16gb ram / 2tb pcie drive better graphics card in it.

before tonight, has been flawless machine. had rather concerning episode of colored lines showing on screen processed raw files. now, disclaimer, these nikon d850 nef files , adobe has released update cc photoshop only, not cc lightroom. , fair, camera new apple has not yet released update either. files big, 45mp.

using both photo mechanic , cc camera raw , thing got hot. after 30 minutes lines appeared. did restart right away , left 20% of screen light green lines.

last time saw lines this, vid card went bad on macpro.

else have issues machine's display going buggy under load that?
 

interesting - , worrying - development of model. when running pm , acr, doing? batch processing / importing, etc? give idea of kind of stress system under.

have run istat mini or smc fan control monitor temps , boost fan speeds?

caveat: run smc , tune fans higher on macs. don't need silence, value power, speed , hardware longevity more anything.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
