Restore from Time Machine to a different size SSD?


i have imac 1tb hdd. have bought 500 gb ssd , want replace hard disk. use more or less 450 gb right (but in past had more space used). have made backup time machine. issue is: can restore files stored in last time machine backup 500 gb ssd without problems if time machine set 1tb size of last 1 under 500 gb?

yes, long there's less space 500gb.

if doesn't won't restore, notification.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
