Will iOS 11 make an iPad 4 and 1st Gen Mini worthless?


my father bought pro 10.5 yesterday best buy deal. had ipad 4. mother had mini 1st gen , going take 4 father. question is, the mini 1 , ipad 4 going worthless when ios 11 comes out due apps becoming 64 bit? apps backwards compatible since these 2 devices can't upgrade ios11 or these 2 ipads become obsolete useless?

thinking taking mini use reading books easier handle air 2 function. have 3 macs air 2 , iphone 7, of upgraded ios 11 , high sierra. if add mini account screw things imessages in cloud because not capable of being upgraded 11 or work on other devices , work on mini?
 

quite contrary:
after ios 11, perfect machines retro game , old applications.
also, since ipad 4 , mini 1 cannot upgraded ios 11 anyway, 64-bit not of issue. can guess apple retain 32-bit package after ios 11 rolled out.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
