Image capture cannot save in PNG format - High Sierra

i'm getting error there aren't enough disk space save scan if select png format.

no problem when saving pdf or tiff.

cannot save png when selecting icloud drive location or of hard drive folder (which apfs formatted). tried external drive macos extended formatted, same problem.

problem? how report bug apple?
 

unfortunately can't test myself @ stage.

all bugs can reported through http://bugreport.apple.com. it's aimed @ developers can use it.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
