GTX 970 problems


mac pro 5,1 2010, 2.4 quad core. boot gtx 970, nothing blank screen. throw in amd mac card, works fine. go nvidia control panel. shows " os x default driver" checked. unlock panel, check use "web driver", restart, goes "use os x default driver". several times, same thing. put gt120 in, same thing. . every time check use web driver, restart, reverts use os x default driver, no matter or mac card use. i'm sure "use web driver" has checked 970 work. so, take 970 & hard drive out, put in 2.26, works perfect , use web driver block checked. 2.26 2009 upgraded 5,1 don't think have bearing on it. why 2010 keep reverting "default os x driver"?
 

have tried turning off sip?

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
