iMac 27"/3.3/8GB/5K Retina - Late 2015 motherboard FAILURE

hello, share how 1.5 year-old top spec imac died out of warranty.

bought 27" imac 5k 2tb fusion drive home office, in december of 2015. it's late 2015 model, (serial number ends fegg7n).

keep in mind not using every day , took care of it.

last week when trying turn on, screen remained off , machine beeped continuously. nothing else happened.

took istore, apple’s authorized tel aviv dealer had purchased it, , after inspecting in lab, determined logic board faulty, , quoted repair price of 3000 ils (850$), 12 months warranty period has expired , , had not purchased applecare plan.

apart me expecting top of line imac last more couple of years, real reason hadn’t purchased applecare while buying imac, sales representative had asked me how computing skills were. have been using pcs on 35 years.
went on suggest applecare not necessary i'll never need 'tech support' apple.
never had mentioned possibility of hardware failure, let alone within short time after purchase. would’ve thought pricy machine wouldn’t last more 18 months? ☹

i'm extremely disappointed dismal build quality , lifespan of imac , inconsiderate service apple provided post-sale.

this 27" imac expensive machine apple sells, should last more 18 months!

denying responsibility such expensive product after 18 months of use not fair!

i'd appreciate suggestions on how deal issue.

with imac buy applecare 3 year warranty.
