Will these upgrades help a lot for my mini?


hey guys,

have busted received 2012 mac mini yesterday, got setup el capitan until goes local mac specialist change few things..(and yes know myself im bit clumsy , inpatient costs, worth imo).

basic 2012 mac mini, i'm upgrading high serria, 16gb ram , 240gb ssd. im on standard hd 500gb , 4gb ram, on el c. ..

im noticing lot of slow downs, beach balling, slow net, youtube etc, , i'm running, few things, mail, messages, spotify, safari etc..

can hog 4gb in atm? , can hd been hammered pretty goosed?

frankly yes can. installing ssd you're planning on, make "scream". it's amazing how of slow down there using hdd in mac mini frankly. upgraded mac mini 2012 years ago kingston hyper x 128gb ssd , 16gb ram. kept 500gb hd (spinner) , used second hd (bought dual kit cable ifixit) use store user account(s) home , documents, library, etc. i've used encoding machine x264, file server, , itunes server without hiccups or issues.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
