Photos and 4K HEVC Shot on iPhone 8 Plus

why photos mac giving me highly compressed 720p version when explicitly asking 4k. if drag , drop movie photos finder, i'm given same file 720p, 46 megabytes.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
