one or 2 ssd on 27‑inch imac retina 5k display (mid 2017)?

understand such imac has 2 different ports 2 different disks inside (eg., 1 ssd or une fusion drive apple). questions:

1. possible install disk inside boot such imac?

1: no, apple uses proprietary connector ssd, though similar form factor m.2 blade

2: yes, sata port exists models' motherboard, model without 3.5" hdd have (proprietary) sata cable missing, easy buy ebay because apple has used same 1 years.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
