Macbook Pro 2017 battery life issues


hi everyone, received 13" mbp 2017 model work. have 2015 13" model @ home personal use , thing runs charm.

new work computer's battery drains @ unbelievable rate. plug in @ night , when take out work within hour minutes i'm running @ 46% , within 2 hours it's dead. i'm not doing special, working google docs or light web browsing. i've tried tricks (auto-sleep, etc) , drain still takes place. common? new computers consume energy @ level?

i'll add home computer video editing , stuff , can , still @ 80% battery.
 

open activity monitor, what's running @ high cpu usage?

if you've got it, it's running encryption/photos , stuff.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
