Incorporating 2nd Internal Hard Drive in Mac Pro


hi all

purchased , installed ssd internal hd mac pro 4.1 compliment/sit alongside original hd. want use solely adobe photoshop (scratch disk, read , write, cache) , perhaps few other applications, , leave original hd main boot up, etc. wondering if can give me few pointers need do.

i'll need format drive in mac os extended, , load os (i've got on usb stick), how arrange original hd boot, etc? , what's best way migrate chosen applications new drive?

apologies if stupid question. appreciated :)
 

i read post implying new ssd not boot drive. if that's case, need install new drive, format it, , go. because you're using data drive, don't need thing beyond prepping it.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
