Icloud now requiring device passwords?


i set new ipad device password logged icloud in normal apple id way. subsequently redid installation without device password.

when tried log icloud on old ipad entered apple id , password. asked 2-factor code iphone entered. told account being protected new ipads password. had enter device password original activation of new ipad.

after seems work know if new icloud.
