Strange reproducible audio error (left woofer)


hey folks. wanted see if has had happen them and/or start fix-it talk in case else experiences it.

problem (last 3 days, no updates have occurred, no weird 3rd party audio software installed – adobe cc, haven't had running loud or unusual, use headphones) left woofer cuts out @ volume or signal level. resets normal when computer restarts or pram or smc reset. error can reproduced, seen in video. makes feel not hardware issue me.



backing fresh re-install of osx see if problem persists. arrrrgh hate re-installing. genius bar people don't know is. trying fix myself before sending work compy off 10 million years.
 

maybe current limiter gets tripped prevent speaker blow out. happened several times when new mbps first shipped in 2016 , windows bootcamp installed. disabling speaker @ level might save having return unit replacement
