hello mac rumors community! long time lurker here : )
have at&t here in hoboken, nj across river manhattan. since i've switched ios 11 beta on 7 plus , latest update, i've been experencing extremely slow lte speeds. guess can't call them lte speeds since phone brick @ point until connect wi-fi. can't run speed tests on network because it's slow.
furthermore, while i've never experienced great reception while using phone phone at&t, latest beta update it's unusable @ moment. call drops 90% of time or have connections can hear caller can't hear me.
has else been having similar experience at&t or matter of other carriers latest beta update?
read article few days ago at&t , verizon users experiencing slower lte performance year (which i've noticed before beta installation) phone doing absurd. i'm chalking beta @ point , next update improves when new iphone comes out i'm considering making switch t-mobile after on 10 years cingular/at&t.
in advance thoughts!
i have verizon , while slower, depends on market. in areas verizon/at&t has more towers/bandwidth hit udp not bad while others have little bandwidth deployed, clogged quickly. verizon has lots of spectrum deployed in market speeds dropped maybe 120 mbps down on typical day 80 mbps.
if planning switch t-mobile, grab prepaid t-mo sim test out coverage prepaid plan loaded on already, because people have issues t-mobile in buildings vs verizon/att. can these dirt cheap on ebay under $20 per month.
