Can mac play BD native now?


i can't seem find recent hits on it. want buy external dvd drive , thought i'd check first? 3rd party players support it? tia - jim

i've yet see states can. apple doesn't have interest in bluray, , doubt we'll ever see macs native bd capabilities.

still need 3rd-party "bluray player app". (such "aurora blu-ray player")
or -- rip bd disk using "makemkv" (i -think- that's name of it) , play way.

when got 2012 mini (with no built-in optical drive), bought samsung "506" series bluray/dvd/cd burner. haven't tried using bd yet, it's been fine dvd's , cd's.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
