clean install


i have late 2013 imac super slow. when start up, takes 10 minutes , sluggish, loading folders, compared el cheapo macbook air. ever since got first imac 10 or years ago update ios , delete apps here , there, think have accumulated crap, it's not running well. honest, imac has been slow since got it, had tech people check , seemed fine.

long story short, what's best way clean install? use super duper backup, because takes mirror image imagine in re-upload crap too? manually save own files , format hard disk? have contacts, calendar, mail, etc on icloud. better ways that?

you clean install , use "migration assistant" selectively migrate need using superduper clone source.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
