Apps keep crashing on me


over past month or so, apps have been crashing on me. several different apps doing (e.g. safari, bookends, word, nvalt, mail) , can't see patterns when it's happening. have idea what's going on? have macbook ari 2013 8gb 256gb , i'm running sierra 10.12.6.
 

by crashing, mean apps stop responding, quit, quit , restart?

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
