Will HS change my imac's firmware?


will trying out hsierra on external usb ssd clone of imac's hard drive result in change firmware on imac when boot it? there option keep firmware same? reason ask production machine don't want find out no longer works el capitan when reboot elcap after trying out hsierra.
 

yes, update firmware if install directly.
possible run hsierra without new firmware long use drive not apfs. if have or can loaned access mac can install it, can install onto usb drive , other mac it's firmware updated once installed, wont try update again , can move usb drive try on production imac.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
