Good external Soundcard for iMac ?


hi,
wondering if of knows external soundcard use imac. switched pc mac, , lost quite sound asus soundcard there, in combination 5.1 boxset, sound something.

, not saying imac have bad sound, if you're used had, imac sound doesnt it. know there many external soundcards out there, have bad reviews , seem sound bad. not mention reviewed on windows, dont know if work or @ on mac.

wonder if here maybe got same problem have sound, , found solution. not mention dont want listen via headphones, speakers. if here has experience external soundcard mix of a) affordable , b) sounds , c) working on mac, please let me know.

surprised sound on imac, not bad @ all, all-in-one in case. still, if had b00msound rocking, cant go sound of imac speakers. ;)
 

the mac's audio capabilities pretty "built it".

if you're looking hook speakers, can think of couple of ways go:

1. usb-connectible speakers, , utilize digital/audio out via usb.

2. usb-digital audio converter (dac). come in kinds prices reasonable astronomical.

MBP extremely slow, HDD cable replaced, what next?

How much is my cMP worth?
