Apple's ARKit Used to Recreate Classic A-ha 'Take On Me' Video

developers have been creating impressive augmented reality apps , games apple's upcoming arkit api, , latest proof-of-concept video reimagines video accompanying a-ha's 80s hit "take on me."

video, created augmented reality studio trixi, uses arkit, unity 3d assets, gameflow, , animations made using mixamo combine real world visuals black , white sketched characters in "take on me" video style.

original a-ha video featuring sketched comic book character comes life took several months create, trixi founder chip sineni told the verge arkit version took couple of days.

"the hardest part not having live video receive post effect," said sineni. "but [we] wanted effect of turning world 'take on me' experience, not baked in experience."

arkit set position iphone , ipad largest augmented reality platform when launches alongside ios 11. developers have created wide range of content using arkit, ranging practical applications room measurements , furniture placement games.

How much is my cMP worth?
