Using built in ssd raid v my existing 4tb raid so

recently started using late 2013 mbp casual editing in fcpx , noticed, performs better down running off ssd.

i'd raid 2 or 3 ssds , make 4tb raid new home directory - using raid ok home directory? boot drive 128gb ssd still speedy experience.

can u actually. 'raid up' ssds? think 2x 512gb either pcie or 2.5" drives -what adapters need if using 2.5" in sleds?

existing drive set up

128gb ssd in optical bay - boot / apps
2tb green spinner - home directory
2x2tb wd black drives - raid

new setup

128gb ssd - boot / apps
2x 2tb wd black drives - raid - 'to do' fcpx drive ft
2 x 512gb ssd - raid - active fcpx projects

stick 2tb green in enclosure backups

, yes know apple took raid away in el crapitan - in el sierra leon? use free trial app raids use that

maybe 2 1tb ssds - http://amzn.to/2qekaya or think may have 2 pcie slots free perhaps pcie better?
